In these uncertain and challenging times, we are here for you. 

We would like to reassure you that Parker Cars will continue to provide you with a safe, reliable and efficient passenger and courier service throughout this unusual period.

We are very thankful for the support received by our drivers and staff who keep going to make certain that we are still able to provide you with any necessary travel and deliveries.

Along with following the government advice, we have also put some additional measures into place to ensure that the protection of our customers and drivers are kept to the highest standard possible, please see below:


  • We would ask all passengers not to travel in the front of the vehicle with the driver and have set the following restrictions to the capacity of vehicles: 
    • Up to 2 passengers in a saloon vehicle​
    • Up to 4 passengers in a 5, 6, 7 or 8 seat vehicle
    • Up to 10 passengers in a 16 seat minibus
  • Drivers have been instructed to: 
    • Open and close doors for passengers at both pickup and drop off​
    • Open the boot for passengers belongings, shopping and luggage as usual - but drivers may ask passengers if they would prefer to load their belongings themselves unless transporting elderly, disabled, infirm or very young passengers. If drivers do handle passengers belongings, clean their hands immediately afterwards.
    • Keep antibacterial spray (or similar) in their vehicle at all times to clean communal areas such as seat belts, window buttons, door handles, etc. 
    • Use gloves wherever possible when handling customers belongings
    • Wear masks wherever possible when passengers are on-board
    • Clean coins and notes paid by customers
    • Clean communal areas at the start of every shift and in between bookings wherever possible
    • Wash their hands at every opportunity
    • Clean their mobiles phones and PDAs regularly

Parker Car Service is one of the largest Private Hire Operators licensed by (TFL) Transport For London via the PCO (Public Carriage Office).
The drivers are fully vetted, carefully selected after interview for their skill, experience and regularly checked to make your journey an effortless delight.
We undertake a substantial amount of work for Her Majesties Government as well as Local Authorities. This requires our drivers to undergo further security and character checks.
This means that we have some of the best vetted drivers in the country.
Our vehicles are regularly and systematically checked by our Fleet Manager.
Your safety and peace of mind
We will can send a text to your mobile phone to tell you which driver and vehicle has been sent to collect you. This means you know what vehicle you are getting into.

Look out for the text that will be sent when the driver arrives
Make sure it is the correct registration on the vehicle as per text
Make sure the vehicle has a round yellow disc overlaid with a white diamond in their front and rear windscreens.
Ensure the drive knows your name and destination before you get in.
Sit in the back of the vehicle.
Never, never get into a car that you think might be a cab if you have not booked it.

Corporate Social Responsibility is important to Parkers and our customers, we have been proud to sponser events such as the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Awards.

Here is a short video describing why.

During 2015, Parker Car Service, assisted the Energy Saving Trust with a project. Working with the EST and Routemonkey we installed different types of trackers in upto 100 vehicles. The T-TRIG project for the Transport of London was to record the difficulties of installation, use and finally the content of the data gathered. 

Parker Car Service continues to encourage its innovative Airport Shuttle launced in September 2009 as both a green measure cutting emissions by at least 50% as well as a massive cost saver, click here. Known as our Green to Gatwick Service, up to 3 passengers from the same address can be transported to Heathrow for as little as £14.50 and Gatwick for £29.50. This service differs from our standard airport shuttle as this is a shared ride scheme which reduces carbon footprint and makes substantial financial savings.

Terms & Conditions

Set out below are the terms and conditions by which Parker Cars Ltd conduct its business with the Client (The account holder), the Passenger (the person travelling) and the Booker (the person booking journeys). Parker Cars Ltd reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions of trading without notice.

Parker Cars Ltd set out to provide a safe reliable service to all of its customers.

We will always try to be fair and reasonable to our customers and promote goodwill where possible.

Whilst we will exercise all due care and consideration to carry out Client and/or Passenger instruction we will not be liable for any incidence or loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Transport of Goods

All parcels, packages and goods are taken at customer’s own risk. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate insurance cover is in place for goods in transit.

Right to Refusal

Parker Cars Ltd reserve the right to refuse to carry any persons or objects that the driver deems to be likely to cause him or his vehicle harm or damage in whatsoever form. The judgment of the driver will be final.

Parker Cars Ltd may charge for any costs involved.


All quotes, where given, are approximate according to an estimate of miles and time incurred by driver and time of day of travel and type of vehicle required to do a specific journey.


We will calculate fares based upon mileage incurred, time and out of pocket expenditure.

The charge rate will vary according to the type of vehicle/service required for the journey.

We operate a fixed rates for journeys to or from the local areas to: the London airports and to most London postal codes.

Most journeys are quoted travelling via the shortest route. If the route varies from this, e.g. by request from the customer to use a motorway route or the driver has to avoid a traffic related problem, Parker Cars Ltd reserve the right to charge the Client for any extra mileage and time. 

Where a customer requests us to buy any item on their behalf or during a journey, we will take all reasonable care to purchase an exact match to the request. However, this may not always be possible. Any items bought on behalf of the customer will be chargeable. 


We reserve the right to apply a surcharge to:

- out of area to out of area journeys

airport and station pick-ups.

- Christmas, New Year and other Bank Holiday journeys

- additional stops on route

- periods of extreme weather or road conditions.

- journeys out of standard business hours.

- peak hours


Parker Cars Ltd assume a journey request is still valid until:

1. A Passenger or some one deemed to be representing the Passenger cancels the journey with a member of staff in the offices of Parker Cars Ltd and receives confirmation by the member of staff that it is cancelled.

2. Our driver and or supporting staff have satisfied themselves that they are unable to pick the Passenger up for whatever reason.

Until then we will take all reasonable care to complete the booking.

In the event of a cancellation of a journey Parker Cars Ltd may charge for any costs incurred until the time when it is apparent that Parker Cars Ltd have been satisfactorily informed of a cancellation of booking or Parker Cars Ltd have been unable to contact the Passenger.

Usually there would be no charge for a journey cancelled prior to dispatch.

Where a journey is cancelled after the driver has been dispatched the Client may be liable for a charge.

Where the driver is unable to find a Passenger after making all reasonable efforts the Client may be charged

Where a Client or Passenger gives incorrect information regarding a pick up place or time or other relevant detail that results in a cost to our driver, the Client may be liable for a cancellation charge.

Cancellation Charge

A Cancellation Charge is calculated to pay for the time and miles and incidental costs of our driver when he is unable to pick up a passenger.

Where a booking for a 16 seat vehicle or larger is cancelled within 24 hours of the pick up time, 50% of the fare will be charged. 

Waiting time

Where a driver has to wait beyond the appointed time to collect a Passenger, whether it be the fault of the Passenger or Client or arises from circumstances beyond their control, the Client will be liable to pay Parker Cars Ltd for the waiting time.


We will try to carry out a journey in a way the Passenger requests, e.g. route variation unless we have written instructions not to do so by the account holder.

Security of the account

It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure adequate security to ensure that the facility is not abused.

The account will be set up with minimal security measures unless the Client specifies their requirements in writing,

Parker Cars Ltd are able to set up various security measures with a prior request in writing from the Client.

The Client will be liable to pay all bookings made on the account.


The Client undertakes to pay invoices within the payment terms on the account application.

Overdue amounts may incur interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year.


All queries are to be raised in writing within 14 days of invoice.


Lost Property

The Parker Cars accepts no responsibility for private property on our premises or in our vehicles, including accepting any liability should lost property be returned for any reason to someone who is not its owner - eg if someone makes a false representation to Parker Cars of ownership of property.

Property that is left on the premises will be kept for a period of three months, after which it will be disposed of.

In order for property to be reclaimed, a detailed description of the item(s) and/or proof of ID (identity), and date that the item was left will be required.

While every effort will be made to identify the possible owner of lost property (which is likely to involve searching of the item) and then make contact with them, Parker Cars will not return the property to that person unless they provide the details set out in the previous paragraph.

The Parker Car Service will not mail/courier or insure during transit any reclaimed found property back to the presumed owner unless they send the appropriate fees to cover packing and postage, and any insurance during transit stipulated by the claimant.

All items sent at owner's risk.

Note that Parker Cars will NOT automatically arrange insurance during transit Parker Cars will only arrange insurance during transit if it is specifically requested in writing at the time of reclaiming found property - and then Parker Cars will only arrange the insurance that is made available as "standard" by the carrier chosen by Parker Cars (so Parker Cars will not be liable for the suitability

Parker Car Service not only provides quality transport service for that everyday shopping trip or business meeting but we also provide transportation for events such as sporting events or musical events. Parker have been awarded top grading (5 star) by the Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA) due to using the best personnel and the most advanced dispatch system in the country.

All drivers are well presented (in collar and tie) and safe (Public Carriage Office Licensed Drivers). We have instant nationwide communication coverage. All vehicles have satellite navigation and all drivers are satellite tracked - your car can be instantly pinpointed with its location and speed. Your information is securely transmitted via GPRS to your driver who will have your full journey details on display in his "in-car" computer before he picks you up. Caller details are retained, so next time you call we can usually automatically recall your pick-up details. You can have full security protection for your account by restricting use to a list of authorised users or those who quote a security code. Electronic online journey signatures are also available to account customers. We can customise invoices for you - grouped by department or user, billed weekly or monthly.
